Coherence Therapy Email Discussion Group

Who it's for
  • This discussion group is for all professional mental health clinicians who are serious practitioners or students
  • of coherence therapy, worldwide. Participation is free--there are no fees or costs whatsoever.

    How it works
  • Each email message sent to the group's address by a member is delivered to all members.
  • Every reply message likewise goes to all members (or you may opt for a private reply).

  • What it's for
  • Interact easily with coherence therapy practitioners worldwide
  • Ask questions or invite viewpoints on all aspects of coherence therapy, including your work with specific clients,
  •    and get the benefit of your colleagues' experience with coherence therapy methods and concepts
  • Read members' innovations in techniques for carrying out the methodology
  • Share the joys and jams, the poignance and problems of your journeys with your clients

  • How to join in
  • It's easy: To begin receiving the group's messages, go to http://mailman.jfku.edu/mailman/listinfo/dobt
  • On that page you will enter a few pieces of information that set up your subscription.
  • (You will see that the server identifies the list by its original name, "DOBT--Depth Oriented Brief Therapy".)

  • Tips
  • Title messages you send to the group as specifically as possible, so group members can easily decide
  •    if your message is relevant for them.
  • This discussion group is not moderated. Participants are responsible for maintaining clear, relevant,
  •    constructive, courteous, professional communication.
  • Participants want a coherence therapy focus, but it is fully appropriate to discuss how other therapy modalities or
  •    techniques can be used in tandem with coherence therapy or be adapted to serve its methodology. For example,
participants may need to discuss how EMDR fits into coherence therapy, just as coherence therapy gets discussed
in the EMDR email discussion group.

    List administration policy
  • The List Administrator reserves the right to eliminate from participation any subscriber (member) whose
  •    communication to the group or to any member fails to be adequately clear, relevant, constructive, courteous
and professional, in the view of the List Administrator.
  • Privacy Policy: The list of members and their email addresses will never be distributed by the List Admini-
  •   strator or the owners of the coherence therapy website. Members should be aware, however, that the
individual members of this discussion group, like members of most online email discussion groups, have
access to the full list of participants. The List Administrator and the owners and administrators of the
coherence therapy website bear no responsibility for how members may distribute the membership list and
the message content of this coherence therapy email discussion group.
